I had my mother focus on decorating the venue with flowers and family photographs from both sides; meanwhile Bruce&#039;s mother was in charge of our cake. We couldn&#039;t have been happier with how both things turned out, and our mothers felt like they were involved.

Everything else was our domain, our choice - as we liked to say, &quot;It&#039;s a wedding... not a democracy!&quot;</description>
